Dorothy is a results-driven professional with a passion for finding solutions leading to a sustainable future through technology adoption, social good, and environmental sustainability. Since earning her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences from UBC, she has devoted her energy and time to the field of sustainability, honing both her skills in clean-technology adoption and client relations. She finds, implements, and promotes solutions to climate change.
Dorothy first met James Dean in 2012 at a clean-tech event on fuel cell technology. They reconnected when she joined CORE Energy Recovery Technologies. Dorothy spent the next four years working with Sales Reps and OEMs in the HVAC industry promoting energy-recovery solutions for commercial and residential buildings. At the same time, she was involved in her local ASHRAE Chapter and represented CORE on several HVI Technical Committees.
As part of the Oxygen8 team, Dorothy manages inside sales, applications, and sales operations. She collaborates with the engineering and sales teams to make Oxygen8’s solutions a reality by ensuring their customers have everything they need to succeed.
Outside of work Dorothy spends as much time as she can outdoors, whether she’s running along the seawall, camping, or hiking in the North Shore Mountains. She also loves to cook, listen to podcasts, and host board-game nights.
